Mike Peters was the frontman of the Welsh rock band The Alarm, known for their hits such as '68 Guns' and 'Strength.' Born in Prestatyn, North Wales, he rose to prominence in the early 1980s and became a significant figure in the music industry, touring with notable artists like U2, Bruce Springsteen, and Bob Dylan. Throughout his life, Peters battled chronic lymphocytic leukaemia and later developed a more aggressive form of cancer, which ultimately led to his passing at the age of 66. He was also a dedicated advocate for cancer awareness and stem cell donation, co-founding the charity Love Hope Strength with his wife, which has helped add over 250,000 people to stem cell registers worldwide.
