Mike Simms

Dr. Mike Simms is the curator of geology at National Museums Northern Ireland, where he has made significant contributions to the understanding of Ireland's geological past, particularly in relation to dinosaur fossils. He has been involved in the study and exhibition of two of the only dinosaur fossils ever found in Ireland, highlighting the challenges of discovering such ancient remains in a region where the geological conditions are not typically conducive to fossil preservation.
