He is best known for producing the Academy Award-winning film 'Around the World in 80 Days', which became a significant success in the 1950s. Todd was also notable for his flamboyant personality and lavish lifestyle, which earned him a reputation as a showman in Hollywood. He was married to actress Elizabeth Taylor, and their wedding was hosted at the mansion of Cantinflas in Acapulco in 1957. Unfortunately, Todd's life was cut short when he died in a plane crash on March 22, 1958, but his impact on the entertainment industry remains significant.
