Mikhail Polyakov

Mikhail Polyakov is a 24-year-old American tourist of Ukrainian descent who was recently in the news for illegally attempting to visit North Sentinel Island in India, home to a dangerous and isolated tribe that has had no contact with the outside world for over 30 years. He arrived on the island in a small boat, bringing gifts such as diet cola and coconut, and was later apprehended by Indian authorities for trespassing in a protected area. Polyakov is known for his interest in extreme tourism, having made previous attempts to engage with isolated tribes in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
