Mikhail Yezhel
Mikhail Yezhel served as the Minister of Defense of Ukraine from 2010 to 2012 during the presidency of Viktor Yanukovych. Following his term, he held the position of Ambassador of Ukraine to Belarus from 2013 to 2015. He became a controversial figure due to allegations of state treason related to his decisions on military equipment sales that weakened Ukraine's defense capabilities. After leaving his ambassadorial post amid criminal investigations, Yezhel sought refuge in Belarus, evading prosecution in Ukraine.
