
Milan Čič
Milan Čič was a prominent Slovak politician and lawyer who served as the Prime Minister of Slovakia in the 1990s. He played a significant role in the early years of Slovakia's independence and was known for his contributions to the establishment of democratic institutions in the country. In 2020, he was posthumously awarded the state prize named after Jozef Miloslav Hurban for his exceptional merits in public service.
