Milan Stambolija

Milan Stambolija is a former soldier from the self-proclaimed Republic of Serbian Krajina, who experienced the mass exodus of Serbs during Operation Storm in August 1995. He describes the operation as a moment that marked his life and the lives of many others, as approximately 200,000 Serbs fled Croatia in the face of advancing Croatian forces. Today, he lives in Serbia and reflects on the legacy of the war and the ongoing quest for justice regarding the atrocities committed during that time.
