Milenko Matanović

Milenko Matanović is a visual artist and a prominent member of the avant-garde art group OHO, with a career spanning over 52 years in the United States. After the group achieved international recognition in the 1970s, Matanović relocated to Scotland and then to the U.S., where he has dedicated his work to connecting art with community initiatives, ecology, and education through his nonprofit organization, Pomegranate Center, near Seattle. He has facilitated over 60 projects aimed at fostering community engagement and democratic practices. Recently, he has been involved in discussions on democracy and artistic expression, highlighting the relevance of OHO's ideas for contemporary audiences.
