
Milivoje Anđelković Kajafa
Milivoje Anđelković, known by the nickname Kajafa, was a Serbian army colonel born in Belgrade in 1868. He completed all military schools available in the Kingdom of Serbia and served as the head of cadets at the Military Command from 1897 to 1902. An influential figure in Serbian military history, he gained recognition for his role in the May Coup and commanded a battalion that protected the royal palace. Anđelković is notably remembered for his leadership of the Javorska Brigade, which liberated Pljevlja from five centuries of Ottoman occupation on October 27, 1912. His legacy has recently been commemorated with a mural in Pljevlja.
