Millicent Mavika

Millicent Mavika is a resilient young woman from Tanga, Tanzania, who overcame significant challenges to pursue her education. After facing societal stigma and personal struggles following an unplanned pregnancy at the age of 17, she managed to return to school through special programs designed for young mothers. She graduated with a degree in Political Science from the University of Dar es Salaam and now works as a project assistant at Brac Maendeleo, advocating for girls' education and empowerment.
