Mimi Fariña was an American singer-songwriter and activist, known for her contributions to folk music and for being the sister of folk singer Joan Baez. She was a significant figure in the 1960s folk music scene and married actor Milan Melvin in a beautiful ceremony during the Big Sur Folk Festival in 1968, which was celebrated with a song by her sister.
