Mindaugas Akelaitis
Mindaugas Akelaitis is a seasoned police officer who began his service in 1999 in Marijampolė, later working in various capacities including at the Kazlų Rūda police station and the Lithuanian Police Training Center. He has held leadership roles, notably as the head of the Šakiai district police department. In 2017, he earned a master's degree in law from Mykolas Romeris University and has extensive experience in implementing national and international law enforcement projects, developing strategies, and participating in legislative processes. Akelaitis is married and has three children.
