Mindaugas Kvietkauskas

Mindaugas Kvietkauskas is a prominent Lithuanian poet, literary scholar, and professor. He debuted in 1998 with the poetry collection 'Rabi' and has since dedicated much of his career to academic pursuits, including serving as the Minister of Culture from 2018 to 2020 and becoming the Dean of the Faculty of Philology at Vilnius University in 2023. After a long hiatus from poetry, he recently returned to the literary scene with a new collection, 'Gruntiniai vandenys,' reflecting on his creative journey and the interplay between poetry and academia.
