Minka Skaberne

Minka Skaberne is a distinguished tiflopedagogue and professor, renowned for her dedication to the education and inclusion of visually impaired individuals. As the founder of a library specifically for the blind and visually impaired, she has significantly contributed to the accessibility of Slovene literature, including transcribing classics into Braille. Her long-standing commitment to this cause, spanning 38 years of unpaid work, has made her a pivotal figure in the community.
