
Minoru Mukaiya
Minoru Mukaiya is a celebrated Japanese musician and composer, best known as the longtime keyboardist for the jazz fusion band Casiopea. With a deep passion for trains, he founded a company in 1985 that creates train simulation video games and has developed a unique genre of music known as 'hasha-merody', or departure melodies, which are played in train stations across Japan. Since 2004, he has composed around 350 original pieces, enhancing the auditory experience of commuting in Tokyo.
