Mira Delavec Touhami

Mira Delavec Touhami is a dedicated educator who has been teaching the Slovene language and culture to expatriates in Germany for over fifteen years. Balancing her teaching career with her academic pursuits, she is currently working on her fourth doctoral degree. Mira is deeply connected to her cultural roots, drawing inspiration from the legacy of Slovenia's first female poet and writer, Josipina Urbančič Turnograjska. Her life experiences, which include a strong bond with the Tuareg community, a love of nature, herbs, and porcelain, reflect her diverse interests. Mira aspires to use her extensive knowledge and experiences to eventually return to her homeland and contribute further to her culture.
