Mircea Bordean

Mircea Bordean is the leader of the Sindicatul Siderurgistul Hunedoara, representing the employees of the ArcelorMittal steel plant in Hunedoara, Romania. Recently, he announced that around 500 employees would be placed on technical unemployment due to a lack of orders and high energy prices, marking the second time this year that production has been suspended at the plant, which has a long history dating back to the late 19th century.
