Miriam Valencia is a dedicated Peruvian accountant known for transforming her home in Miraflores into a breathtaking display of Christmas nativity scenes each December. Over the past 35 years, she has meticulously curated a collection of around 350 unique nativity sets, each representing diverse artistic traditions from various regions of Peru and beyond. These nativity scenes, crafted from materials such as Huamanga stone and Catacaos ceramics, tell personal stories of joy, loss, and cultural heritage. Despite experiencing personal grief, Miriam has turned her home into a beacon of celebration and creativity, inviting people to experience the rich tapestry of Christmas traditions through her elaborate creations.
