Mirina Cortés

Mirina Cortés is a prominent Spanish politician and the former leader of the People's Party (PP) in Móstoles. In 2022, she was replaced as the party's candidate for the 2023 municipal elections by Manuel Bautista, a decision made by Isabel Díaz Ayuso, the president of the Community of Madrid, which Cortés accepted despite her reservations. Cortés's leadership was marked by her efforts to challenge the PSOE's dominance in one of Madrid's most populous cities.
