Mirjam Schlup

Mirjam Schlup is the head of the Office for Justice Execution and Reintegration in Zurich, Switzerland. She is a key figure in the implementation of a new program aimed at reducing recidivism among sexual offenders by requiring their participation in educational courses as part of their probation. Schlup believes that while punishment is necessary, it is equally important to provide offenders with the tools to understand and reflect on their actions in order to prevent future crimes.
