Mirnes Zahirovic

Mirnes Zahirovic is a Bosniak resident of Srebrenica who works at the genocide memorial center in Potocari. He and his family returned to Srebrenica in 2013, having fled during the Bosnian War when he was a child. Zahirovic's experiences during the war, including the forced evacuation of his community, deeply influence his perspective on the importance of remembering the past and fostering coexistence between Bosniaks and Serbs in the present day.
