
Miroslav Radonjić
Miroslav Radonjić was a renowned theaterologist, cultural activist, and former director of the Youth Theater in Serbia. He was born on August 15, 1936, in Užice and pursued his education in various Serbian cities, eventually earning a master's degree in philology from the University of Belgrade. His tenure as the head of the Youth Theater from 1973 to 1981 was marked by a significant emphasis on domestic drama and the integration of both local and international theatrical creators, leading to numerous awards for the theater. Radonjić also contributed as a theater critic, organizer of scientific and professional gatherings, and writer of essays and articles. His passing in 2025 has left a profound impact on the cultural community, as expressed by the Youth Theater in their heartfelt tribute.
