Mirriam Masibuko

Mirriam Masibuko is the director of the Orlando Children’s Home in Soweto, one of the oldest orphanages in South Africa. She has played a pivotal role in fostering relations between Japan and South Africa, hosting over 1,000 visitors from Japan and receiving the Order of Rising Sun Gold and Silver Rays in 2014 for her contributions to promoting goodwill between the two nations.
