Mitch Loch is a filmmaker and co-founder of the Instituto Sacatar, Brazil's oldest continuously operating artist residency, established in 2002 on the island of Itaparica. His vision for the institute was to create a space that fosters cultural exchange and artistic collaboration, inspired by his experiences in the arts community.
