Mitja Križaj

Mitja Križaj is the director of the Državna Skladi Upravitel (DSU), an organization responsible for managing public investments and developing affordable public rental housing in Slovenia. Under his leadership, DSU has initiated a project to construct 32 rental apartments in Šmartno, Ljubljana, with plans to build up to 2,500 affordable housing units over the next decade. Križaj advocates for a cost-based rental model, inspired by Austrian practices, aimed at providing secure and quality living spaces for the middle class.
