Mo Kangping

Mo Kangping, now in his eighties, is a resident of Qiaotou Town in Dongguan and played a significant role in the construction of the East Shenzhen Water Supply Project, which has been supplying water to Hong Kong since 1965. He joined the project out of a deep concern for his relatives in Hong Kong during a severe drought in 1963, showcasing his commitment to helping his fellow citizens.
