Moges Yeshiwas

Moges Yeshiwas is a mechanical engineer who played a crucial role in the construction of the Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam, which is Africa's largest hydro-electric dam. Having started work on the project in 2012 at the age of 27, Moges dedicated himself to ensuring the structural integrity of the dam while enduring the challenges of remote working conditions and long hours. The completion of the dam is seen as a monumental achievement for Ethiopia and a source of national pride.
