Mohamad Javad Assadi

Mohamad Javad Assadi is a high-ranking commander in the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) and currently leads the elite Ansar al-Mehdi unit, which is responsible for the protection of senior Iranian officials. Appointed in August 2022, he has played a crucial role in enhancing the security protocols for Iran's military and governmental leaders, especially in light of recent threats from Israel, including assassination attempts.
