Mohamed Ahmed Elsayed Ahmed Ibrahim is an Egyptian national and a suspect with alleged ties to the terrorist group Al-Qaeda. He is currently under investigation by Brazilian authorities for his involvement in money laundering operations linked to the Comando Vermelho criminal faction in Rio de Janeiro. Ibrahim has a significant history in informal financial systems associated with the faction and is wanted by the FBI for allegedly facilitating financial operations on behalf of Al-Qaeda. Despite being removed from the FBI's wanted list in 2019, he continues to be regarded as a suspect by both Brazilian and American law enforcement agencies.
