Mohamed Eid, a 66-year-old craftsman, has dedicated his life to the art of wooden barrel making in the historic district of Darb Al-Ahmar. He began learning the trade at the age of 15 under his father's guidance and has witnessed the evolution of barrel usage from practical storage to decorative items in homes and cafes. Mohamed runs one of the oldest workshops in the area, where he continues to produce high-quality wooden barrels, relying on traditional methods and passing down the craft to his family.
