Mohamed Salah Arfaoui, born on January 11, 1956, in Bizerte, Tunisia, was a prominent Tunisian politician and civil servant. He had an extensive career in public service, notably serving as the Minister of Equipment, Habitat, and Spatial Planning from 2015 to 2018. An engineer by training, Arfaoui honed his technical expertise through specialized training in Japan and South Korea, leading significant infrastructure projects in Tunisia. He later served as a presidential advisor until the end of 2019, contributing to the country's development plans. He passed away on September 18, 2026.
