Mohamed Simo

Mohamed Simo is the mayor of the city of Ksar el Kebir in northern Morocco. Recently, he has been in the news for coordinating the emergency response to severe flooding in the region, which has displaced thousands of residents. Under his leadership, authorities have set up tents and shelters to accommodate nearly 40,000 individuals affected by the floods. Simo, who also serves as a deputy in the parliament, has announced the suspension of school activities in the area for at least ten days as part of the response measures.
