Mohamed Subih Daher

Mohamed Subih Daher is a 40-year-old community coordinator for an initiative called Homs Is Our City, dedicated to the reconstruction and revitalization of the Khaldiyeh neighborhood in Homs, Syria. A long-time resident, Daher has endured significant personal loss, including the deaths of over 50 family members in Sednaya prison, a notorious site of human rights abuses. Despite facing imprisonment himself for his civil society work, he remains committed to helping his community rebuild after years of devastation from the Syrian civil war.
