Mohamed Zuita

Mohamed Zuita, a 73-year-old retired nurse from Marrakech, participated in the Marcha Verde in 1975, a mass mobilization that aimed to reclaim Western Sahara for Morocco. He recalls the peaceful nature of the march and his subsequent life in the region, where he built a family and considers himself as much Sahrawi as he is Moroccan.
