Mohammad al-Tous
Mohammad al-Tous, 69, is a Palestinian who gained notoriety for spending 39 years in Israeli prisons, the longest for any inmate in Israel. He was sentenced to life imprisonment in 1985 for armed activities linked to the Fatah group. Recently, he was released as part of a prisoner exchange deal between Israel and Hamas, although he can never return to Palestinian territory.
