Mohammed B. Kieta

Mohammed B. Kieta was the Chief Imam of Nimba County, Liberia, known for his significant role in promoting peace and reconciliation among rival ethnic groups in the region. A respected elder from Ganta, he was instrumental in addressing local disputes and fostering unity within the community. Tragically, he passed away in a motorcycle accident on March 16, 2025, while returning from family affairs, leaving behind a legacy of compassion and leadership that deeply impacted the lives of many in Nimba.
