Mohammed Feras

Mohammed Feras is a 44-year-old farmer and occasional tourist guide from the Bdoul community, who has lived in the ancient caves of Petra his entire life. He is a father of nine and is currently facing eviction from his home due to a major development program aimed at transforming Petra for tourism. Feras has resisted offers of relocation, asserting his deep connection to the land and its history.
