Moisés Mendocilla

Moisés Mendocilla was the director general of the Dirección General de Medicamentos, Insumos y Drogas (Digemid) in Peru, recently removed from his position amid a crisis following the distribution of a defective saline solution by the pharmaceutical company Medifarma, which resulted in the deaths of five people. His removal was part of a broader response by the Ministry of Health to address the fallout from this tragedy and to facilitate investigations into the matter.
