Mondher Mami was a prominent figure in Tunisian diplomacy, serving as the ambassador of Tunisia to Prague from 1996 to 2001. Throughout his career, he held various diplomatic roles, including positions at the Tunisian embassies in Vienna, Paris, and at UNESCO. Mami also contributed to the training of future diplomats as a lecturer at the International Diplomatic Academy of Tunis. He later served as a presidential advisor and director general of protocol from 2012 to 2019. His contributions to diplomacy earned him prestigious honors, including the first grade of the Order of National Merit and the fourth grade of the Order of the Republic. He passed away on February 10, 2026, at the age of 84.
