Mongo Sandí

Mongo Sandí, known as 'Mongo', is a 31-year-old individual identified as the second-in-command of a violent criminal organization led by an individual known as 'Churro' in southern San José, Costa Rica. Recently apprehended at Juan Santamaría Airport while attempting to flee to Colombia, he has been linked to serious criminal activities, including kidnapping and attempted homicide. His arrest reflects ongoing efforts by the Organismo de Investigación Judicial (OIJ) to combat escalating violence attributed to this gang.
