Moni Amarilio

Moni Amarilio was a renowned Israeli composer and arranger, born in 1932 in Skopje, North Macedonia. He immigrated to Israel at the age of 20 and quickly became a significant figure in the Israeli music scene, known for his poignant melodies and lyrical compositions. Throughout his prolific career, Amarilio composed over 600 songs, many of which have become classics of Israeli music, including 'In My Beloved Land,' 'The Green Mountain,' and 'The Oak Tree.' His work has been celebrated in various music festivals, and he was recognized for his contributions to the cultural landscape of Israel.
