Monique Hawkins

Monique Hawkins is the head of policy and advocacy at The 3 million, an EU citizens’ campaign group that advocates for the rights of EU nationals living in the UK. She has been vocal about the challenges faced by dual British citizens due to recent changes in UK immigration policy, particularly the financial burden imposed by the new requirement to present a British passport for entry into the UK. Hawkins has called for the implementation of a low-cost travel authorisation system, similar to those in other countries, to ensure that British citizens are not unfairly locked out of their own country.
