Monserrath Ruiz

Monserrath Ruiz is a Costa Rican politician and member of the Partido Liberación Nacional (PLN). Recently, she was in the news for being criticized by the government during a press conference led by President Rodrigo Chaves, where her image was used in a video to mock legislators opposing a controversial labor law project. Ruiz, along with other lawmakers, has been vocal about protecting labor rights and opposing measures they believe undermine workers' protections.
