Montien Boonma

Montien Boonma (1953–2000) is considered a pioneer of contemporary art in Thailand, known for his unique blend of Buddhist spirituality and elements of Arte Povera. His works, often focused on themes of healing and transcendence, have gained recognition posthumously, particularly with the exhibition of his installation 'Quiet Lotus' at the Dib Museum, celebrating his significant contributions to Thai art.
