Montserrat Pagès

Montserrat Pagès is a renowned art historian who served as the curator of the Romanesque section at the National Art Museum of Catalonia (MNAC) for thirty years. She has dedicated her career to the study and promotion of Romanesque mural painting in the regions of Alt Urgell and Cerdanya. Although now retired, she remains actively engaged in the art community, recently presenting her comprehensive book on Romanesque mural painting, highlighting significant works both housed in museums and those that have remained in their original locations.
