Moon Hoon

Moon Hoon is a South Korean architect born in 1968 in Sangdong, Gangwon-do. He spent his adolescence in Tasmania, Australia, and pursued architectural studies in both South Korea and the United States, including at MIT. Since founding his firm Moon-Bal-Sso in 2001, Hoon has been recognized for pushing the boundaries of architecture by integrating various disciplines and innovative design practices. His notable works include Rock It Suda, Two Moon, S_Mahal, Wind House, and Sangsang Museum. During a recent talk at Centro León, he emphasized the importance of experiential engagement with architectural spaces and his commitment to continual innovation in the field.
