He made a significant impact in the agricultural sector after graduating from the Agricultural Faculty in Zagreb and later founded his private company, Kemokompleks, which thrived due to his established international connections. In 2004, he took over a major winery in Kutjevo, further solidifying his status in the wine industry. As of autumn 2023, he was recognized as an honorary citizen of Kutjevo.
