Morten Steenstrup

Morten Steenstrup was a prominent Norwegian lawyer and politician, known for his tenure as a member of the Storting for the Conservative Party (Høyre) from 1981 to 1989 and as a state secretary under Prime Minister Kåre Willoch. He was a partner at the law firm Sands and played a significant role in Oslo Høyre as its leader from 2022 to 2024. Steenstrup was a passionate advocate for raising awareness about brain cancer, specifically glioblastoma, and authored a book reflecting on life and death. He passed away at the age of 72 after a battle with cancer.
