Morteza Haqgo

Morteza Haqgo is a dedicated community leader who, along with his friends, founded a small mourning ceremony for Imam Hussein in their neighborhood more than 25 years ago. Starting with a simple black shawl and an old samovar for serving tea, Morteza's initiative has grown into a vibrant gathering that engages multiple generations in the remembrance of Ashura, blending his passion for community service with his love for education, as he currently balances his role in the ceremony with his academic pursuits.
