Moshe Isserles

Moshe Isserles, commonly known as the Rema, was a prominent 16th-century Polish rabbi and halachic authority. He is best known for his work 'Mapah,' which provides Ashkenazi customs alongside the 'Shulchan Aruch' of Rabbi Yosef Caro, and his contributions to Jewish law continue to influence Jewish practice today.
